W. B. Yeats (1865–1939) was an Irish poet and playwright, a key figure in the Irish Literary Revival. Known for his symbolic and mystical style, his works like The Second Coming and Easter, 1916 explore themes of nationalism, spirituality, and change. Yeats won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1923 and remains one of the greatest poets of the 20th century.
