Virtual Book Shelves
The book shelves reflect the original arrangement of books in your library. As you know the library follow the Dewey Decimal Classification system with local variations. The books are arranged subject wise starting with 000 to 900 class numbers
Under the same class number, books are arranged by the last name of the author. So, if you are looking for the book "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", you will find it under Class No. 823.9 K (Children's Fiction - First letter of author's last name (Jeff Kinney)).

How to Issue a Book?
Click on the shelf with the class number and the first character from author name to open the shelf. You can find the titles arranged alphabetically by author name. Point to the title to see the book cover. If you would like to issue the book, click on the title and provide your library card number to put the book on hold
